The Duke of Cambridge narrates mental health campaign

03 01 2020

The Duke of Cambridge has launched a new collaboration between Public Health England’s (PHE) Every Mind Matters, the Football Association (FA) and Heads Together’s Heads Up campaign, narrating a short film to be played at the start every third round FA cup match, delaying the game by 60 seconds.

The Take A Minute campaign, which also stars football legends including Frank Lampard, Chris Kamara, Harry Maguire, Jordan Pickford, Dele Alli, Jesse Lingard, and Alex Scott, is a 'historic first', encouraging football fans to look after their mental health by 'taking a minute to consider their well-being'. Prince William, president of The FA, commented 'Over the course of the next five months, Heads Up will use one of the most powerful, unifying forces in our society - football - to spread the message that we all have mental health, just as we all have physical health'.
